I offer edge to edge designs, custom quilting, and basting services. I quilt on an Innova longarm. My brain is the computer, so even if you select an edge to edge design, your quilt will have some human variation - this makes it even more one of a kind. Not sure what you want? Together we can figure out what will highlight your piecing and work well with how you plan to use the quilt.
Edge to Edge
Edge to edge means that I quilt one design across your whole quilt. You can even get fancy and decide on one design for the middle of your quilt and a different design for the border.
Freeflow
Freeflow is where I combine many designs into one allover texture. It offers more variation than one edge to edge design, and is typically more dense, but is not customized for your piecing. Like an edge to edge design, it ends up being the same texture over the whole quilt.
Custom
I offer many kinds of custom quilting, from putting one design in your block and one in your background, to unique combined designs, to negative space designs. Things can get really fancy when I use multiple different colors of thread and rulers. If you want custom quilting for your quilt, I’ll look at your quilt top, we’ll talk together about the quilt, and then I will suggest some design ideas.
Basting
If you love to quilt your own quilts but hate laying them out and pinning, spray basting, or thread basting, I can help! I can load your quilt onto my longarm, baste it with a big stitch and high contrast thread, and then you can quilt it on your machine without the hassle of basting it first.
